Nicole Szuba Memorial Scholarship

The Nicole Szuba Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life, passion, and legacy of Nicole Szuba, whose dedication to the construction industry and commitment to uplifting others left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
Generously funded by Iroquois Bar Corp., this scholarship represents a $20,000 commitment to supporting the next generation of construction professionals. One recipient is awarded $4,000 annually to help offset the cost of pursuing post-secondary education in a construction-related field.
The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and individuals pursuing careers in the construction industry through programs such as the skilled trades, construction management, engineering, architecture, or other related fields.
Recipients are selected based on their dedication, strong work ethic, leadership potential, and commitment to building a future in the construction industry. Through the NAWIC Buffalo Niagara, the Nicole Szuba Memorial Scholarship and the generous support of Iroquois Bar Corp. ensure that Nicole’s passion for the industry continues to inspire and empower future construction professionals.

Our 2026 Nicole Szuba Memorial Scholarship Winner was Celia Morey. Celia is pursuing a Welding Associate degree from Alfred State University.
