We understand that you might have a lot of questions when it comes to joining NAWIC, and we wanted to (hopefully!) answer them for you! If you don't see what you are looking for on this list, please reach out to [email protected]!
- Question: What is the difference between an active membership and a corporate membership?
- Answer: An active membership follows the member, while a corporate membership stays with the company. For example, if you were to leave the company you work at when you have an active membership, you keep your membership and can update your information. If you were to leave the company you work at with a corporate membership, the company would keep the membership and appoint a new representative.
- Question: My company would like to sign up and/or renew multiple members at the same time. What is the process for this?
- Answer: We are excited to announce that starting in October 2026, we are offering discounted corporate membership rates. For any company with 4 or more members, you will be eligible for this discount. In order to receive it, you must email [email protected] to begin the application and/or renewal process. Completing any applications and/or renewals through the NAWIC website will not get you the discount.
- Question: I am a high school student who would like to join. Can I join?
- Answer: Yes, of course! Students can join for a discounted rate as compared to the active & corporate memberships. If you are under 18 years of age, you must fill out a consent form before joining. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
